Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm has long been a user of the blood establishment solution Omda ProSang, but in 2024, they explored the international market to identify the very best solution for their future needs.
On April 10, 2025, Karolinska and Omda signed an 8-year contract, including an option for an additional extension of up to 4 years.

Karolinska has publicly announced the financial scope of the contract, valued at 50 MSEK, with additional options totalling 35 MSEK.
