Omda SAFE for police
Ready for the next call.
Behind every contact is someone who wants to feel heard and safe.
Command and control for police. Public contact. Response. Review.
Listening carefully can reveal the detail that changes a response. Omda SAFE connects public contact, incident management, communications and dispatch, helping police teams build that understanding.
Public contact
The person behind the first account
An earlier contact or a detail about vulnerability can change how a caller’s situation is understood. SAFE brings relevant history, structured capture, grading and configured guidance into the operator’s workflow, supporting their judgement.
Reassurance, further assessment, a planned appointment or dispatch can follow. Diary activities stay linked to the incident when work is arranged for later.
Previous contact, vulnerability and location information can inform the assessment. A contact can be resolved on the call or escalated to an incident when further action is needed.

Dispatch and coordination
The right experience for the situation
Dispatchers weigh the circumstances alongside the people, skills and equipment available. SAFE’s recommendations can consider arrival times, status, equipment, skills, training and workload, using available data and the force’s configured rules.
Review and learning
A clear account when questions follow
Understanding a decision starts with what colleagues knew at the time. SAFE keeps recorded actions, updates and timestamps with the incident, providing context for learning, operational review and further scrutiny.
Access and reporting reflect the force’s responsibilities and the questions its teams need to answer.

Your force. Your SAFE edition.
Information that works across the force
Operators need relevant information from across the force, not just the system in front of them. SAFE brings information from agreed integrations into views shaped around each role. Workflows, data fields and permissions can be configured as the force’s needs change, with responsibilities and testing agreed.

Views shaped around police responsibilities
A foundation for more connected policing
Intelligence-led policing relies on relevant knowledge reaching the person making a decision. SAFE provides a basis for connecting information from contact, records, workforce and mobile systems, subject to agreed interfaces and access.
As requirements develop, clear ownership of configuration, maintenance and testing helps the force plan for change.
