Södermanland County (Region Sörmland) is extending its collaboration with Omda, and becomes the first Swedish customer to include Omda Readiness in its emergency response solution. This partnership will enable Södermanland County to leverage a combined suite of Omda software to enhance both its emergency response and long-term planning capabilities.
Unlocking synergies between Omda Solutions
Södermanland County is a long-standing customer of Omda Response, a leading mobile solution designed for rescue vehicles. Omda Response is widely used in Sweden, with most regions adopting one or more of its modules: a case-handling and routing tool for drivers, a patient record and medical support system for paramedics and a response management component for incident commanders.
While Omda Response has been widely adopted within the Swedish market, Omda Readiness has a broader international reach, with customers such as the London Ambulance Service, Hato Hone St John (New Zealand), and the British Columbia Ambulance Service in Canada. With its advanced modelling and analytics capabilities, Omda Readiness enables emergency services to optimise resource allocation, model operational decisions, and strengthen strategic planning with data-driven insights.
Now, with Södermanland County as the first adopter in Sweden, Omda Readiness brings these global best practices to Scandinavia. By combining operational data from Omda Response with the analytics capabilities of Omda Readiness, Södermanland County will unlock new ways to analyse and utilise its emergency data.
