Omda Readiness presents powerful product portfolio at the Emergency Tech Show

On the 18th-19th September 2024, Omda will exhibit at the Emergency Tech Show in Birmingham to showcase the complete Omda Readiness product portfolio. The team will also use the opportunity to demo the new Omda Readiness-Playback solution and deliver a presentation exploring the innovative ways the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust (WAST) leverages Omda Readiness.

Available as both a standalone solution and an Omda Readiness-Live module, the Playback solution enables EMS organisations to replay historical incident responses, leveraging the solution’s advanced visualisation tools to analyse performance, assess compliance with best practice standards and extract valuable learnings to inform future responses.

Taking place on the 18th, the presentation with WAST will focus on the unique ways the Omda Readiness solution has enabled positive changes to improve staff welfare, and touch on its role in finance and commissioning processes. The topic will be presented by Tef Jansma, Omda Senior Solutions Architect, and Hugh Bennett, Assistant Director of Commissioning & Performance at WAST.

Understanding the Omda Readiness product portfolio

Omda Readiness brings advanced analytics technologies and data-driven insights into emergency response operations, ensuring optimised resource allocation, increased efficiency and improved patient outcomes. The solution also enables dispatchers to make the right decision in real time with advanced operations modelling and smart recommendations.

The Omda Readiness product portfolio consists of the Predict, Live and Playback solutions, covering groundbreaking ‘What-If?’ scenario modelling, real-time dispatch support and historical incident analysis respectively. Omda Readiness solutions play a critical role in justifying service funding, demonstrating the impacts of proposed budget cuts, optimising shift conditions to improve staff welfare and enhancing patient safety and clinical outcomes by facilitating data-driven decision-making.

Cutting-edge digital solutions for a technology-driven future

Omda’s solutions resonate with Labour’s plans for NHS revitalisation and can help facilitate the new health secretary’s desire to “bring our analogue service into the digital age” (PublicTechnology). In the Labour manifesto, the party argued that “the revolution taking place in data and life sciences has the potential to transform our nation’s healthcare.” At Omda, we know that to be true and have direct experience of the transformative power of user-focused, highly specialised digital solutions.

Addressing the issue of NHS digitalisation, Keir Starmer noted that digital technology “has the potential to transform patient outcomes, improve productivity and save money in the NHS” (Guardian). Omda Readiness achieves all three of those aims and is already helping UK EMS organisations deliver cost-effective, higher-quality healthcare services. The Emergency Tech Show is an opportunity to demonstrate how it does so, and Omda looks forward to showcasing the Omda Readiness product portfolio at the event.
