CSAM Health Group AS (“CSAM”), the leading provider of niche eHealth solutions in the Nordics, today announced that they have entered into a Share Purchase Agreement for the acquisition of all shares in Fertsoft AB (“Fertsoft”).
With the acquisition of Fertsoft, CSAM has created a comprehensive portfolio of women and children’s healthcare solutions – ranging from conception to early childhood – and further strengthened its position.
Fertsoft, founded in 2010, provides complete care and practice management software for Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) clinics. The company is headquartered in Uppsala, Sweden and serves customers across the Nordics and Europe.
– The acquisition of Fertsoft allows CSAM to expand our already leading portfolio of solutions in women and children’s health, adding our first-ever software solutions within the growing ART market, said Sverre Flatby, CSAM CEO.
– Fertsoft and CSAM share a commitment to enabling excellent care through the delivery of highly specialised eHealth solutions, said Martin Björkman, Chief Developer and CEO of Fertsoft. – I am confident that Fertsoft will find a great home at CSAM, allowing us to grow our reach to new customers and markets, and ultimately helping more people realise their dream of having a child.
Fertsoft reported annual sales of ca 4.8 MSEK for its deviating accounting year that ended June 30, 2020. The agreed purchase price is 6 MSEK, and will be settled through an issue of shares in CSAM Health Group AS.
The transaction is expected to close later this month.
